RSS (Really Simple Syndication)
RSS enable the user to subscribe to regularly change web-content. These subscriptions need to be organised or aggregated by a RSS Aggregator. The Aggregator produces an Online Reading List for the user.
What features will students/staff need - what do you mean? tagging? widgets?
AJC: OK you force me to smite you with pedagogical jargon - what are the affordances of different RSS readers which will permit novices users to overcome the activation energy needed to adopt new working practices.
